Mob violence and possibly the murder of members of Congress, Senators, and others in the building. I am sure he he got out because he wanted to be on a beach somewhere, collecting his 6%, when it all went down and very likely continued. I suspect he also realized he was in no position to stop it happening, and probably that some of his actions had enabled it.

I am not suggesting he did anything other than get out while the getting was good. What he knew and when he knew it will make quite interesting reading, when they get around to looking at his role in it all.
