6. Why should the 18-year-old be released?

He would be released into his parents' custody and they're the ones who indoctrinated him into this cult in the first place. He was homeschooled and his parents admit they feel the same way. Plus they drove him down to Washington DC. They can't be trusted. Too bad, but he needs to stay and it's just too bad his parents can't be charged.
