When about turning 16 I was looking for a car and had saved over $2500 throwing papers for 4 years. This was in 82 so cars were cheaper.
I announced at supper I had found a nice 69 Chevelle SS with a large block V8 I was going to buy. Dad announced I was not going to buy that car I had never been so angry. Ended up with a 78 Ford Grenada!
He saved my life.
