Sorry if that's a dumb question, but living in a country where very very few people were infected, it hadn't occurred to me. Doesn't having had Covid make you immune? I guess that vaccination would make it even more certain that you're protected, and I'm wondering now, because my cousin came back from a vacation in New Orleans just before our international borders closed and she and her partner had Covid. It'll be interesting to know if they get vaccinated, though the way it's going, Australia and other countries like the US have so many millions of so many different shots that they could vaccinate their populations many times over while other smaller and vulnerable nations in the Pacific and Asia don't have the funds or the resources to vaccinate their populations...
Anyway, every time since President Biden came into power I see an American online say they've got the jab, I do a happy smile
