Silverman has dealt (hilariously) with transgressive topics through her career. She, Maher, Burr, and the like are worried what comedy will be like if you can't cross that line any more.

Could this movement towards showing others respect "go too far"? Sure.

Has it? Meh, in a couple cases I guess. I don't have much worry about the poor Confederate monuments.

But, certainly the RW was able to quickly and successfully weaponize Me, Too against Al Franken.
