I was not looking forward to her hosting at all, but she was surprisingly good, and seemed to bring a fresh attitude to the job without making it all about her. The teacher thing didn't bother me, maybe because I am a teacher (LOL) and find the attitude familiar and calming. The more I thought about it, though, it wasn't so much that she was acting like a teacher as she was acting "feminine", and we are just NOT used to seeing a woman host Jeopardy. If that is her true personality, she was just being herself as men are always allowed to do. Don't know if any of this makes sense, but I guess I felt bad about my ill feelings towards her at the beginning. Also, the rightwing hates her and was posting all kinds of hate comments on the Jeopardy twitter page.
