The CDC's new report, of course, that vaccines keep a large majority of those vaccinated from becoming infected and thus unable to silently host and spread the virus.

None of us can know which of us are among the 80-90% who won't be able to spread, and we're beginning a fourth surge, so protections are still hugely important, but it looks like the dread specter of more and worse variants developing from inability to control is eventually going to become much less, and then less and less still.
