23. Fundamental decency of the witnesses is a stark contrast to the police

Not only the monster chauvin but the other cops who abetted or let it happen.

The witnesses have all been regretful that they didn’t do something to stop it — even the one who was only 17 at the time.

And here is this young woman who educated herself to be able to save lives, who deals with 1 to 5 pulse less people in a typical 24-hour shift, who clearly cares about her fellow human beings — standing in bright contrast to the disgusting murderers who intentionally snuffed the life out of a man and refused to allow her to help save him.
