After the fall of the Soviet Bloc, he stated unequivocally that forces would be unleashed of which we had little comprehension. I recall thinking that you know you’re in trouble when the only politician who knows what’s going on is Dick Nixon who was a lot of things, but not stupid or ignorant. Not by a long shot.
