I really wanted to see how this goes down so watched almost every minute the first day and a half - it was sooo brutal. By the 2nd day, I was walking out of the room a lot because I just couldn't take it - not one more second of that defense lawyers lies, not one more minute of hearing/seeing someone get brutally murdered by a sadistic cop who enjoyed it. I turned off the tv, but did watch some of the supervisor part yesterday afternoon after I got home from surgery. Taking a break today so far, many phone calls from friends and to dr. office/hospital and a friend came over to bring lunch and help me for awhile.

I want to see this, see how the prosecution rebuts the defense lies and gives the jury the best chance to make the right decision. Who knows if there's a ringer in there, a well disguised white nationalist for example, who cares zero for the truth and up for his city and wants the riots that him throwing the case will cause because he thinks that will help his cause? If something like that has happened, there's indeed nothing that can be done other than a retrial. I am praying these are regular people who will know murder and lies when they see them. The defense claiming the cops were scared by the crowd is pure BS, there were 4-5 grown ass men with guns and 12 people, including at least 3 children so 9 adults with no threats or physical confrontations at all is pure lunacy - but he is pushing this hard. I am still hopeful for a good outcome, which means Chauvin in jail for murder but do sadly understand that history is against us.
