I'd rather deal w a sore arm than lifelong pulmonary, cardiac, or neuro complication.

Agreed. The discomfort is minor compared to the risk of long term illness or death.

Next month I'll get my second dose of the shingles vax. Now THAT first dose laid me low...

I'm with you for both. 10 days into 2nd dose and still have side effects. But

I had the Pfizer shots. Hot flashes (which I was long ago over), fatigue, colorful and really weird

get my 2nd on the 26th & no side affects. told myself -quit wimping out & suck-it up.
