As far as all this troll/low-post-count brouhaha goes, meh. The truth is that dominance of internet discussion boards equates to squat in real world politics. If it did, we would have nominated Kucinich in 2008 and the GOP would be running Ron Paul this year. Like many other places on the web, DU functions by groupthink and hysteria. A couple of weeks ago, the overwhelming mood was that the election was already over and the GOP was kaput. Last week, people were talking about packing their bags and moving to Canada or Costa Rica. This week, we're once again winning so we devote our time to looking for the trolls hiding under every bed. It's all tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
If you want to actually help our guys win, actually volunteering a few hours of time with a local campaign does infinitely more than exposing a hundred trolls.
