3. We all do that for different reasons! In my case, it's my husband's hearing. He'll ask me to repeat

Myself, so I turn up the volume, then get told I don't need to shout! So I try repeating and repeating, and it turns out the problem is that I don't speak clearly! But, I've always remembered someone's saying that encroaching deafness was one of the most isolating effects of growing old, so I care more that he doesn't feel isolated. So, onward and upward with yelling and mush mouth!!!
