(11,220 posts)If anyone is actually so afraid for their life, they do not get a badge and a gun. Let them "serve the force" as a janitor or secretary or riding a desk and filing paperwork...they lack the ability to be trusted to handle a life threatening situation with the appropriate level of calm and bravery.
These cowards fire first, fake the scene second (call to turn OFF cams? yea...THAT is sure kosher...) and then they lie about being afraid.
He chased that kid, he drew his weapon and decided as soon as they were in a pursuit situation that he was going to shoot first, fake the reason later and claim fear last. That is standard operating procedure for LEO when they do this shit.
That kid may or may no have had a weapon at one time, but those ARE EMPTY HANDS WHEN HE TURNS and they are raised as he attempts to comply. That POS coward officer acted as judge, jury and executioner on that kid and that is NOT the duty of LEOs. Who did he protect there? Who did he serve? HIMSELF. He was an officer unfit for duty, an officer with deep prejudices and preconceived notions of conflict resolution and he was an officer that has seen too many reruns of "Lethal Weapon", thinking he is a latter-day Martin Riggs or Roger Murtaugh.
