Once Huffington Post broke the 47% video the other news outlets started to follow given the reaction. Mind you, the 47% story was jucier with better footage and a headline that demanded attention since it was a "secret recording" but there is legitimate red meat here for people to chew on. The key points are.

1) Romney is a 51% owner. Mainstream media has tired of Bain stories because the counter argument is often than Romney doesn't work there any more and they think the average person won't care anymore about Bain either but this is current and this particular company Romney does have a majority share in.

2) Mitt Romney has a majority share in a company that recently removed American flags while Chinese workers were brought over to learn from Americans how to replace their jobs. That sentence speaks for itself and is the crucial point and news story here.

3) These people are being laid off the day before election day. This fact adds to the political aspect of this.

4) The workers are non-union so it's not like union negotiations caused this at all. Most people assume that it's union jobs that get outsourced.

5) The workers have declared the area Bainport and there are some great photos that would make for good news imagery. Pictures are worth a thousand words and any media outlet, including Huff Post, will want some images or video. There's both available.
