(3,491 posts)There are many examples of bad shootings and horrendous abuse by police but this isnt one of them. The video evidence shows there was a split second decision to be made and the officer made the one that kept him safe. There was no way he knew how old the kid was and no way to discern his intentions. His age is irrelevant in this matter anyway. Kids dont get free shots at people. This whole Why was he terrified of an unarmed baby? narrative is ridiculous. Life doesnt happen in stop motion and the freeze frame photo being used to push the idea that there was an execution of a surrendered kid is misleading at best. Its flat propaganda that doesnt reflect the circumstances in the least.
Its an unpopular opinion around here but unless theres some new evidence that contradicts what the video clearly shows, Ill stand behind it until the end of time.
