72. I sell my work at art shows.

Most customers are great but there are always a few idiots.

On memorable one was a husband and wife, the wife was very interested in my carved birdhouses they are old man faces with the mouth as the opening. The husband is loudly badmouthing my work, she picks on out a 75.00 one I take it down, the husband shoves 70.00 at me this is what I will give you. I just looked at him without a word just hung it back up and walked away.

His wife came with the correct amount a little later, now the idiot has got to look at it and remember the interaction instead of just being a respectful person.

For some its like a game they always want to cut the price to feel they got something over on the seller. In two weeks we will be doing our first show since the whole covid lock down. last year was tough without the shows.
