This company is a scam. We rented a car at SEA TAC airport (Seattle/Tacoma) and inadvertently drove back and forth on a toll road May 18 due to road construction. We tried to find a toll booth but there was none, so there was no way to pay the toll in person. The next month we received a bill from the Highway Toll Administration in New York for $60 -- two $5 tolls plus a $50 "convenience fee." The charges clearly stated that the convenience fee is a maximum $25 per day. I called Highway Toll Administration, was on hold almost an hour. When someone finally came on the line they said that I had checked out the car two days earlier at 3 p.m. -- and since one of our tolls was before 3 p.m. and the other after 3pm, that counts as two days -- even though they were both May 18. "That's the way we do it," she said.
