How big of a deal was the January 6th Insurrection?

8. It was a well planned, poorly executed attack...

against our nation.

The plan was to use the crowds as cover. Trump and the other speakers at the "rally" were charged with inciting them to march to the capitol. Once there, agents provocateur embedded in the crowd along with certain Capitol police moved them inside where the actual insurrectionist agents began the mission. The "oathkeepers" and "3 percenters" were foiled by loyal Capitol police. The woman who was shot and killed was in the act of breaching a space where congress members were still being evacuated.

This could have ended very differently and we could very will be living under a totalitarian regime right now.

Anyone involved with any phase of this attack should be brought to justice. This includes people like Ginni Thomas, (wife of SCOTUS justice Clarence Thomas,) who bankrolled busses to transport people to the "rally." The list of coconspirators is long and contains many well known actors. They should all be held accountable for this attempted treason.
