Vibes your way (even though it is next day now). Hopefully there was no permanent damage done that had not already been done. I have heard the FDR / DDT thing before.

I manage a lab a work and I usually remain quiet while people working in the lab talk about issues but I couldn’t contain my laughter at this and the person that said it I think got offended. They asked what was so funny. I told them that FDR got sick in the early 20’s. Aug of 1921 while vacationing at his home (I like reading about history) the disease that paralyzed him was Polio. DDT was not made until the 1940’s. So I let them do the math.

I don’t know why or how people can just discount facts / reality to conform to whatever belief they feel strongly about but it is very apparent there are a lot who can and unfortunately the discounting of facts around COVID has cost many lives.

I wish you the best in dealing with this. If it was a neighbor that would be one thing but since it’s family that makes it extra double tough. 🙂
