(11,836 posts)Tearing FAMILIES apart. I really wish there was some argument-ender but people will believe the nonsense they believe, and the more pushback you give, the deeper they dig in.
Last night, I watched a short livestream embedded in a larger video. The livestreamer was making his case that these basalt...columns? Are they columns when they're lying on the ground? In any event, his contention was that they were the bones of giants.
Also included was a very short clip with two idiots at Mount Rushmore presenting "evidence" that the gigantic carvings are actually made from cardboard and papier-mâché. After that, anti-vaxxing doesn't seem quite as odd.
I really hope your daughter comes around, and accepts the reality of the situation. At the very least, that you can all come to an arrangement, tacit or specified, where this topic is just not part of your family's lexicon. You all need the peace, and no one needs the elevated BP.
