103. Sometimes kids want to be opposite

My daughter got her vaccines but she is republican and voted for Trump, manager making good money for first time in her life wants tax breaks.

She spends no time learning the truth that she would have to make a lot more before it would matter. She has been surrounded for the last 20 yrs by republicans at work and after breaking up with her husband 7 yrs ago and getting right leaning boyfriend slowly they got to her.

She only changed parties about 4 years ago. We had a few arguments but I decided I love her and want to stay close to her so we don't talk politics or about her boyfriend I can't stand. Not just because he is republican but keeps quitting or getting fired and she financially takes care of him. Always an excuse. But even that would be ok if he didn't say abusive type things when angry. My daughter just says he doesn't mean it, why do people put up with that?
