136. Not as such, or at least not any more since we moved away...

It’s complicated, and would take pages and a box of kleenex to explain. I’m just not the person I thought I would be at this age, 45 or 50 years ago when I was longing to start a family.

It actually has become easier to live with since we moved about 1 1/2 hours down the freeway, because I gradually gave up most of my unrealistic expectations (that is, unrealistic given the personalities involved), and at the same time got my dream home due to the real estate price difference between the two locations. It was a fortunate move in every respect.

I felt “terror” listening to my husband’s side of the conversation — because I was on the other side of anger, on the other side of defensiveness, and I just felt so sad for her. I felt sad because she has been sucked into the vortex of lies and fear that plagues our nation.
