"Family Feud" was a great concept for a game show. Like any good game, it easily involves the TV audience (unlike, for instance, $100,000 Pyramid, in which you're simply watching contestants compete).

There's nothing inherently offensive about "edgy" material, but I believe that when a show has to resort to such things to maintain ratings, it's an indication that it's becoming irrelevant. Questions like "We asked 100 men what household chores would you like to see your wife do in the nude?" are rather stupid. Surveys based on real life items (e.g. "Name someone you're nervous talking to," "What is the most stressful holiday?", and the like) actually make for better gameplay.
