I've been told several times over the last couple of days that this is exactly the wrong approach, and we need to trust the Democratic leadership to know what they're doing and not shame or stampede the Republicans into showing some basic humanity.

We should soon have folks showing up to explain why Rep. Ryan is so very wrong in his approach.
