Getting laws right often requires multiple takes over a period of years. I agree that this DUI provision is horrible, especially given that there is already an existing proof of impairment provision, but it may take the failure of this and the attendant outrage (or the proper Senator's DUI) to have it fixed. I'm not familiar with Washington law, but some Governors conduct line item vetos. Besides, isn't the ultimate goal to change the federal law, which may render state laws moot anyway? This can still work out.

Ive seen people smoke it at metal concerts, but i never wanted to try it. i prefer beer :)
