to withstand and recover from now than it was when you were younger. I’m impressed by the advances in dental medicine.

On the pain management front, both my dentist and an oral surgeon I’ve gone to both recommend alternating ibuprofen and Tylenol every few hours, rather than prescribing heavier drugs. Apparently there’s quite a bit of data that suggests this is not only safer but also more effective for dental pain. And I have to say, after trying this following numerous procedures, I absolutely believe in this method now. It works well for me. (But of course, listen to your own provider!)

Best of luck. Take it easy for a couple of days. You’ll be fine, and you’ll be glad you did it.
