Texas is on the verge of telling the BATFE to kiss their ass.
For many years gun suppressors (silencers) have been heavily regulated and taxed by the Federal Government. Texas is taking the position that if the silencers are made in Texas and stay within the State that they are none of the Fed's business. The legislation is planned to be a model for other states to allow their citizens to use silencers without government regulation. It will be really interesting to see how the Feds handle the issue.
