21. The republicans have legislated throwing out election results they don't like.

This isn’t theoretical at this point. Real laws have been passed in many states.

And it doesn’t seem to matter to Manchin. In Georgia, the republican-led legislature can replace a local election board at their pleasure. This is aimed at the most democratic parts of the state. The GOP will step in and not certify an election until some nonsense “audit” happens.

And there is nothing the people can do about it without an assist from the federal government.

The Supreme Court has already laid the groundwork for turning away challenges to state laws. There are a number of cases where the justices have said that elections are the domain of states, which is what I predict they will say when Georgia throws out votes.
