Deborah A. Robinson was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. She began her service in that position on July 18, 1988.[1] Robinson retired on August 31, 2020.[2]

On October 30, 2017, Magistrate Judge Deborah Robinson presided as Paul Manafort, the one-time campaign manager for President Donald Trump (R) and Manafort's associate, Rick Gates, entered pleas of not guilty in response to an indictment on 12 charges related to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Upon entry of the plea, the defendants were held over for trial in a federal district court with Judge Amy Berman Jackson presiding.[3]
