An example in the story was the the theoretical arrest of a felon and, in the process, recovering an illegal firearm, if the cops charged on the illegal possession of the firearm they could be subject to a $50,000 dollar state fine. It would not matter to me what the people of the state do, except that what happens in Missouri will not stay in Missouri. The Feds should not continue to fund police agencies that work against them. Let Missourians pay for their own policing. They already have one of the highest violent crime rates in the country, I guess that they just want to share the love with the rest of us.

If Missouri is allowed to proceed as they wish, they will become the gun store for criminals all over the nation. Need a machine gun? Pop over to Missouri.
