The real teachers were stomping their feet to get this. And they got it.
The hybrid thing was driving them nuts. They hated it.
Now that there's a light at the end of the tunnel, they don't want half measures to turn the light into a train.
How they'll manage the 100% online kids, i don't know.
Since that doesn't impact subs, it wasn't discussed.
Like I said, parents overwhelmingly wanted this solution too. Parents want it, teachers want it; it was bound to happen.
I also don't know how they're handling the younger kids. This session was strictly for those of us doing grades 7-12.
Last point: September/October is still good golf weather. So, I'd only be subbing rainy days. With all the districts I go to, it might not impact me until November.
I'll find out through the summer how the other 11 of 12 districts manage things. (The local one I already know. They're doing the same thing, pretty much.)
