This is not a blue collar crowd, which many are inclined to believe. A lot of the joking on DU would have us believe that Trump's most violent supporters are poorly educated working class white dupes for the establishment. But such people are rarely able to just hop on a plane to DC in the middle of the week.

The maga shaman notwithstanding, most of these people are not literal basement dwellers, except in the moral sense.
