I have to admit that I was stunned when the CDC said that vaccinated people didn’t have to wear masks except on public transit, and that unvaccinated people should continue to wear masks everywhere. At the point that the CDC did that, anyone over 12 years old could have gotten vaccinated for about 45 days and vaccine was in plentiful supply here in the US, so there was no reason for anyone over 12 years old not to have gotten at least 1 Covid vaccination shot. I don’t know why the CDC assumed that the virulent anti-mask, anti-vaccine people would start wearing a mask - those people have been psychopaths all through the pandemic, why expect them to change?
