It's a meaningless term today. Class composition is a mater of supreme importance, but the current state of theory and practice on it, especially in Democratic politics, is a fucking joke, as this exchange amply demonstrates. You send me to Google because the imagined understanding is thin as fuck and collapses under the slightest interrogation. Jesus, the Italian autonomists understood this in the 1960's but we're still pretending.
