27. I'm not sure where the impetus should come from, but I'm pretty confident it's not the DOJ's job.

I expect there are precedents on retired officers returning to active duty, like during wartime, but i can't name one, so I can't address whether they were invited or whether they invited themselves. I don't know whether there is an actual precedant of aretired office being recalled ot stand court martial. If amyone knows more than I do about this, please share.

We can certainly petition the Commander in Chief, president Biden, but it would be nice to know whether that's appropriate or not.
