I know 5 people that caught Covid in the last month. [View all]

2 are vaccine eligible kids that were unvaccinated.
1 claims to have been vaccinated, but is a Trumper and I have doubts.
1 had a single Pfizer shot. They didn't get really sick. Maybe 24 hours of reduced energy.
1 had both Pfizer shots

The last one with both shots is 60+. He's been laid up for 4-5 days, not able to move much or eat. He has a headache. His oxygen is staying above 90. I think he's turning the corner for the better. The vaccine probably saved him but it's not over.

The point is that the Covid situation is clearly getting worse. A vaccine helps but is not a savior. People should use multiple layers of protection.

1. Vaccine
2. Masks
3. Hand washing
4. Sanitization where possible

If people prefer to have a mass die-off to prove some idiotic point, you can't stop them. Control what you can control for yourself. And don't waste energy on other peoples decisions if you can avoid it. Yes, it's life or death, but people make their choices.
