As a healthcare professional, it pains me to say that I'm losing faith in the CDC. The notion that nobody could've seen this coming is bs. Many of us did. My office never lifted the mask requirement for vaccinated persons. Even their new guidelines are ridiculous. Unless we are going to isolate high transmission areas, these low transmission areas will also see an uptick. The same principle applies throughout, if you are vaccinated, chances are you will not have a serious infection but you may contract the virus and spread it.
The constant flip flop only damages their credibility and bolsters the propaganda which is the opposite of what is needed.
This is a global problem that requires a global solution. We need to ramp up vaccination worldwide.
