I would suspect that the Democrats who agreed that violence is coming, believe it because they think that they will have to fight the right to stay alive, not that they support some kind of Fascist overthrow of the country.

Thirty percent of the country has been effectively brainwashed by the right wing press over the past 30 years. They are ignorant, they are angry, they see liberals as a deadly enemy, and they have the conviction of religious zealots; a deadly mixture. How can you deal effectively with people who want to destroy you?
