broadcasting their feelings of inadequacy with their guns and their cosplay and their posturing that they think is "manly."

Even the gun manufacturers understand that all this is an attempt to alleviate feelings of inadequacy. Which was the manufacturer who said the gun was a "man card"? Was it Bushmaster? That's pretty blatant. And it's obviously designed to appeal to those who were not all that secure in their masculinity. Which they must have identified as their target market. So......
