I don't understand why stores aren't reverting to mask requirements. I'm pretty sure spending was strong throughout the pandemic. It's not like they had to ditch masks to stay in business. People had pretty much gotten used to wearing them indoors. Now almost nobody is wearing them (as predicted). The only thing I can come up with is that they got tired of the tantrum throwers. A small % of maskholes threw public baby tantrums. Contrast that with the pro-mask people. We aren't currently throwing tantrums about how everybody should be wearing masks.

I wish all of the stores would band together and bring back masks. I can choose whether or not I go to a concert (or whatever), but I have to buy supplies. Thankfully I am able to use curbside pickup for most of it.

Also, when people start throwing tantrums it's an easy fix. Just tell them their problems are over b/c they're never allowed in any of your stores again.
