I partially sponsor some young girls in a wonderful progressive orphanage in Kabul.
Those who run the school will likely be killed. The older of the girls will likely be forced to become Taliban brides. The younger ones who knows what. And these are kids who have known a decent degree of freedom, exposure to the arts and culture. I just can't imagine the horror they are in for. Or worse, I guess I can.
