It wasn't about him "stumbling over the line". He was mean spirited and inappropriate with at least half of his "jokes". The other half were really him trying to boast. They were the kinds of ass hole things republicans say to each other about President Obama in the locker room at the country club. This guy must not have any real friends. If he did he would know how to give some good-natured jabs. He's just not a real human being.
