25. Are mass marches or protests an efficient use of resources?

I guess it is great as a show of solidarity, but where is the grass roots follow through?

If we can take just 10 percent of the people showing up at March and have them consistently show up and speak at local government meetings, then we might win the battle.

My issue is that I think that progressives are making things way too hard for themselves by ignoring tax payer funded forums where they can speak out, and yielding such forums to the right wing, because we are focusing on a one day, annual march.
