(1,798 posts)This is a very serious, and longstanding, matter. It's very demoralizing to see fraud flip offices to the Republicans. The fact that Democrats could, conceivably, overwhelm this is used too much as a way to keep attempts to increase awareness of the problem to a minimum.
Don't you think that the situation for Democrats and progressives in general would be better if the story for the past few years was that Democrats kept winning close elections? This is practically precluded if nothing is done about election fraud - Democrats only closely win elections that should have been blowouts. The spread is skewed to the right from where it belongs according to the actual vote count. The fact that Democrats still win elections doesn't change that.
I wish the response to the election fraud threads were more "Yes, and ..." instead of "No, instead ..."
