9. Not that it will cost Obama the election or anything, but...

we have more than our fair share of racists in southeastern ohio, where I live part-time when not in columbus; We do have people who would vote for Obama if he were white.

It's probably a wash because Obama also draws increased turnout from urban neighborhoods, black and latino, and college voters.

But overall I'm really optimistic. People like my mom and aunt who voted for McCain and Bush (because of "God&quot are switching to Obama because they want some Obamacare.

Being able to go to the doctor trumps the God's orders I guess.

On the other hand there is coal and natural gas propaganda everywhere - on yard signs, bumper stickers, TV ads, full page ads in the newspapers. They say Proud Coal Families Vote to Stop Obama. President Obama: STOP the war on coal families! (then shows a picture of a sooty coal miner with his little daughter standing next to him looking scared). This place is weird I want out.
