In the end, it's the old saw... Republicans fall in line, and Democrats fall in love. They did not love McAuliffe.
It did not help that the MSM has been beating up on Democrats in general, nonstop, since Biden took office.

I think we will pull out of this when we pass the transformative legislation before Congress.
