McAuliffe made a huge mistake on his comment that basically indicated he had no problems taking power away from parents who were worried about the education their kids were getting and don't understand nuance well.
Which basically means he put off white women who accept/prefer traditional roles and don't pursue higher education because they don't believe they personally need to be more than a mother and wife.
