If I'm truly irritated I'll go for the deeper sorts of wounding sarcasm.

Sarcasm, from the ancient Greek, to strip the flesh with one's teeth.

You can't fix anyone who has incorporated anti-intellectualism into their religious beliefs.

All you can do is take them to the hospital when they fall, and bury them if they die.
