2. I wish there was a way to hold judges accountable for

their actions more than we do now. They have a lot of latitude to do as they please in their courts and there's very little that can be done about it, except in cases where judges are elected.

But what can we do? They can be impeached, but that's hard to do. In some cases they can be voted out, but those are usually lower level judges (although in my state, Supreme Court judges are elected). Maybe we could have panels of elected members oversee the appointed judges.

I don't think that would work for federal judges, though. It would probably be unconstitutional. Wish there was a solution, because they really go too far sometimes, too often for my taste.
